Draping...

One of the best ways to make and add detail to clothing...draping!

First step is to cut fabric on the bias and cut into a a rectangular shape to fit onto the mannequin.

Next step is to push the darts from the lower  parts towards the upper  bodice..to transfer the volume where the drapes will be. ;)
